About the Whyte Avenue Art Walk

The Whyte Avenue Art Walk is Edmonton’s original outdoor art walk and one of Alberta’s largest celebrations of visual art. Each year, on the second weekend of July, Old Strathcona is transformed into a lively open-air gallery and studio, featuring over 450 artists. Patrons are invited to explore, purchase artwork directly from artists, and experience the creative process firsthand as artists showcase their work. As a non-juried festival, the Art Walk welcomes emerging, amateur, student, and professional visual artists alike, creating an inclusive and dynamic showcase of artistic talent that is accessible to everyone.
The 2026 Whyte Avenue Art Walk runs July 10 to 12th from 10am to 5pm daily. Position Summary
