“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Pablo Picasso I love creating artwork. I love the texture of oil paint and using bright, bold and vibrant colors to emerge through the darkness. I love the expressionism of charcoal.
People I am inspired by include; Caravaggio, Leonardo Da Vinci, Picasso, Alexander McQueen, Banksy and the Dalai Lama. Recently I am influenced by taking a Yoga Teaching Training course. I also find inspiration from travelling and the beauty of sunrises and sunsets.
It is important that even though we are so busy, that we get to know ourselves and take time for ourselves to experience joy. Art is a way to look at the world differently and open our mind to new and interesting perspectives. Perhaps we are all searching for connection and we can establish a connection with the artwork we are viewing. Maybe we are all searching for our life purpose. Maybe to discover our true happiness and to live in balance.
I want to share the concepts of love, kindness, compassion, courage and gratitude with the world and challenge people about their concept of joy, and how they pursue it.
