Mansoureh is a researcher, teacher, artist and storyteller. She has been creating art as far back as she can remember. Coming from an art-loving family and living in Iran for the most part of her life, she has always been fascinated by art, colours, and forms around her and drawing and painting have always been essential parts of her experience. She recently completed a PhD in Comparative Literature and is very excited to dedicate her time to oil painting and create more works of art this spring/summer. As a first-timer, she is very happy to share her work with the public and other local artists in Edmonton’s Artwalk this year! She hopes her art can create and recreate spaces of being and sharing and connecting with others in her community!
