Art has been a part of my life since childhood. Thru out my adult life I have taken a self-directed approach toward developing my education.
It is my belief that art is a continuous journey and to stop the learning process is to abandon the journey. As such, over the years, I have been fortunate to study with accomplished artists in both Canada and the United States. I have attended numerous classes, workshops and seminars all with the goal of developing my unique style in painting. I have painted tiny memory boxes for hospitals and I have painted sweeping floral abstracts. I love detail and applying the many layers of color that give my pieces life.
When I paint, I often take stops for reflection and to allow the creative flow to find its way onto my canvas. Over the last few years I have found that my art has resonated with people and to my joy I have discovered like-minded spirits who continue to support and encourage me on this artistic journey.
