Frances Pelletier is an emerging artist who works primarily with acrylic. She enjoys painting realistically but has tried her hand at abstract and impressionism. Nature and rural scenes are a favorite subject in her art. She hopes to preserve a bit of history in each painting. Her farm in Sturgeon County provides a variety of subject matter.
Frances discovered her love of painting just over a year ago, so she is still developing her own style. Being passionate about her art is just one trait that helps her along in her artistic endeavors. You can view more of her art on her website (www.fdp-artworks.com)
Frances has taken part in several St. Albert Art Walks, Griesbach Shake at the Lake & Art Walk, Art from the Unknown (Edmonton) and The Art World Expo (Edmonton). She was the feature artist in the Corridor Gallery at VASA from mid-March to mid-May of this year and displayed pieces at both the Winter and Spring Members Exhibit at VASA.
Frances will be the feature artist for the month of July at the DCC Alberta Lottery Fund Gallery in Fort Saskatchewan.
