Eden Best

Where to start… Life sometimes isn't easy. I will admit that I deal with depression and schizophrenia. Growing up I found that all my symptoms dwindled as I expressed myself through art. Which is when I realized that art is therapy. No matter what is going on around you, art is your voice when you don't feel you have one. It can express what words can not. Not only that but it helps heal, and it helps you come to realizations. I make major life decisions through brush strokes on canvas. Crazy how such a small thing can have such an impact. I work with acrylics and everything I paint revolves around human emotion and mental health awareness. The good, the bad and the ugly. On a fun note I do like to dance like I'm the only person in the room and you can also find me taking ponder wonders outside talking to trees. Some think I'm crazy. That's okay. But I do hope that my work can do for you the same thing that it's done for me. You can see my work on my website www.edenbest.ca or through Instagram @edenbest.art . Due to my history I have decided that 25% of all proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
