Alicia is a painter and illustrator based in Edmonton. She is an explorer at heart, and gathers inspiration from the dramatic landscapes she encounters on her adventures throughout the West. She is interested in developing storytelling through visual imagery, and is heavily influenced by artists who have mastered this craft, such as Kazuo Oga, Alex Alice, and Rembrandt.
Alicia began her training as an artist through the world renowned Bealart program at H.B. Beal Secondary School where she learned the basics in film, animation, painting, ceramics, and more. She moved on to specialize in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Toronto. She is currently working on a graphic novel that combines elements of philosophy and folklore with art.
